Description
his Hopalong Cassidy Single Action Army Commemorative revolver was produced by Uberti and enhanced under the direction of the United States Historical Society. Built in .45 Colt, it pays tribute to William Boyd’s portrayal of the legendary Hopalong Cassidy, one of the most iconic Western characters of film and television.
Finished in a rich blued tone with silver foliate scroll decoration, the revolver features a 5.5" round barrel marked with “Hopalong Cassidy” in silver script on both sides. The genuine ivory grips are adorned with inlaid silver “WLB” initials on the left panel and a “20” on the right, further connecting this piece to Cassidy’s legacy.
The revolver comes housed in a French-fitted wooden display case with a commemorative brass plaque. This example also includes an autographed hardbound copy of Hopalong Cassidy: An American Legend by Grace Boyd and Michael Cochran, along with the June 1950 issue of Life Magazine featuring Hopalong Cassidy—making this a complete collector’s set.
